Editorial board disclosure policy

All editors responsible for recommending or making publication decisions are requested to disclose on an annual basis any potential conflict of interest, including current or recent financial relationships with any commercial entity whose products or services may be contained in the journal content.
The following competing interests were disclosed:
Jeroen Bax – Prof Bax’s department has received research grants from Edwards Lifescience, Biotronik, Medtronic and Boston Scientific. He is also an Associate Editor for the European Heart Journal.
John Chambers – Prof Chambers has given lectures and provided consultancy advice for St Jude Medical, Medtronic, OnX and Edwards. He also has received an educational grant from Edwards for £60k for a community echo project that ended in May 2015.
David Cosgrove – David Cosgrove has received lecture fees from Bracco SpA (contrast manufacturer).
Anthony DeMaria – Prof. DeMaria has received research grants from Bracco and GE and has presented at meetings of Bracco Inc. He received a joint research grant with Targeson Inc. There is potential that he will be sponsored speaker for GE in the future. Prof. DeMaria is also an Associate Editor of the European Heart Journal, and a guest editor for the JACC journals.
Nick Fletcher – Dr Fletcher has received some loan equipment for teaching purposes from Imacor Inc, GE and Inventive Medical. He has received no personal benefits or remuneration from any commercial entity.
Mark Monaghan – Prof Monaghan has given talks on behalf of Philips and Edwards Life Science.
Patricia Pellikka - In this time period Dr Pellikka has received funding from NHLBI, GE Healthcare, and Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, all the funds are paid to Mayo Clinic. She serves as an editor for ‘UpToDate’, which includes a small royalty. She served as President of the American Society of Echocardiography from June 2012 to June 2013, and past president from June 2013 to June 2014. She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC) and JACC Imaging, both positions are voluntary roles.
Roxy Senior – Prof Senior has received speaker fees from Bracco, Milan, Italy and Philips Healthcare, Holland.
Rick steeds – Dr Steeds has received research grants for investigator-led studies in aortic valve disease from Edwards LifeSciences. He has also received lecture fees for presentations from Edwards LifeSciences.
Farouk Mookadam – ESC Imaging editorial board and Future Cardiology Editorial Board.
